New Year’s Eve events in Cache Valley

Logan Utah, and Cache Valley at large, is an almost idyllic setting for New Years Eve. Fresh white snow, crisp air you can see your breath in, and plenty of live music to ring in the new year. What’s not to enjoy? Here is a quick look at a few of the New Year’s Eve events in Cache Valley and Logan Utah for 2022.

Open Door Policy and Big Sis at the Factory Pizzeria in Logan Utah

Not to toot our own horn (okay, maybe we’ll toot it a little), but we’ll be hosting a pretty fun event alongside Big Sis at The Factory Pizzeria in downtown Logan Utah on New Year’s Eve. Entry is free and the music starts around 9PM and runs through midnight. So come grab some pizza and beer and enjoy a night of laughter and dancing!

New Year’s Eve at the Cache Bar in Logan Utah with Mason Jarr

If you’re a fan of lively bars and country rock, then this event at The Cache Bar in downtown Logan, is the event for you. Local band Mason Jarr will be playing throughout the night. There will also be giveaways and contests as well. Tickets to the event are $10 and the event kicks off at 8PM. All kind of attire, from the most formal to the most outlandish, are encouraged as well! And since The Cache Bar is right above The Factory Pizzeria, it’s easy to come check out both events!

Salduro, Little Barefoot, and Megan Simper at WhySound in Logan Utah

If you’re not feeling like pizza or country rock, you can check out WhySound on Federal Avenue. They’ll be hosting a great eclectic mix of rock music from Salduro, Little Barefoot, and Megan Simper. The entry fee is $10 and doors open at 7PM. The show is hosted by Logan Pride Foundation – so you can guarantee it’s going to be inclusive and fun!

Drag show with DJ YLLO at Barrel & Stave in Logan Utah

Logan Pride Foundation is actually taking over Federal Avenue on New Year’s Eve. In addition to the rock show at WhySound, they’ll be hosting a drag show just across the street at Barrel & Stave. Barrel & Stave has become known for its great drag shows as of late, so it should prove to be a fun night. Plus, proceeds from the bar’s signature New Year’s Eve cocktail, the “Pride Drink”, will benefit the Logan Pride Foundation.

Disco New Year’s Eve with Utah Public Radio (UPR) at Mt. Naomi Farms

Utah’s public radio station, UPR, will be holding a New Year’s Eve event at Mt. Naomi Farms. It might be the closest thing to a black-tie affair for New Year’s event in Cache Valley this year. There will be a delectable buffet dinner accompanied by music from DJ Kevin Wheatley, and an open bar with signature cocktails. That said, it’s also probably the most expensive event in Cache Valley for New Year’s Eve at $115 per ticket. But it does go to a good cause: Continuing public radio here in Utah.

Happy new year, Cache Valley!

Wherever you decide to spend New Year’s Eve in Cache Valley, rest assured that it will feature great Utah rock music and other talent. We in Open Door Policy are wishing you a splendid close to 2022 and a firecracker start to 2023!
