It’s been a while since we’ve played Ogden β but our show last night at Kamikazes did not disappoint! Ogden has always been a bit of a second home to me when it comes to music. Hi-Fi Murder and Version Two were some of the first local bands I saw outside of Logan. I have particularly fond memories of singing Police Brutality and The Good Life alongside great crowds at Kamikazes.
Last night was just like those first shows and experiences. There was even a moment where a bunch of us joined together and swayed back and forth to a song about friendship by No Good One Shoe. It felt like being home. These are the moments I savor most about shows β and one of the moments I enjoy most in life in general!
No Good One Shoe
Fantastic set! Everything from fantasy tales and politics to hilarious songs about milkmen and heartfelt songs about friendship. Do yourself a favor and buy No Good One Shoe‘s music or book him at your venue!
Eli and the Cool Kids
Last night was Eli and the Cool Kids first show as a band β and they knocked it out of the park! They brought a lot of fun energy to the stage β and how often do you see a didgeridoo used in a three-piece band?
Our Turn
We had a blast as well. There were some very enthusiastic people in the audience. We also got a couple people ballroom dancing during Sound of Rain, which I always love to see!
Thanks Ogden for such a great night!
P.S. You can buy our E.P. now on Bandcamp! And don’t forget to join our mailing list for event info, new music, and special perks! (Last night I offered a free drink to everyone on our mailing list who made it out to our show!)
P.S.S. Major shoutout to Trenton at Kamikazes! He did a stellar job running the sound for us and all the other bands throughout the night. Everything sounded great both on stage and in the audience! A huge thanks to Rayven as well for providing the opportunity to play!
